At the top of the market, The Cottages at Schillinger's Pointe is the only community where an attached private garage comes standard — the cottages live like houses, garage door opener and all. Questions to ask before signing

Is the spot reservedor first-come? What's the monthly add-on, and is it waived on longer leases? For gated lots, how do guests park? And if hurricanes worry you, ask whether the garage structure is enclosed or open-sided — an open carport stops sun and hail, but an enclosed garage is what you want in a named storm.
